RESCUE – Humans and Animals United rescued Shauka from Miami Dade Animal Shelter and was taken directly to VCA Hospital in Hollywood where we had X-rays, blood, respiratory tests and skin scraping among other issues addressed. She is much better, but still has a ways to go to be 100% and will be going into foster care while she recuperates. We at Humans and Animals United are so humbled and so thankful to the rescue community that came together for Shauka. We all know how expensive vet care can be, and are very thankful to each and every one of you that have donated for her care.
ADOPTION – Shauka was adopted to a wonderful family and is healing well at this time. We at HAAU are grateful to the family who stepped up to save one of our animals in need.
