Donations / Pledges
Humans And Animals United (HAAU) is a charitable organization described under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, EIN 82-3562750, and is registered in Florida. HAAU retains discretion and control over donated funds in accordance with applicable IRS requirements. HAAU generally seeks to honor donor preferences for particular rescues and rescue operating expenses, but funds may be redirected where needed, including when donations remain after a particular need has been satisfied. Donors therefore understand that HAAU maintains control over the ultimate use of donated funds. No goods or services are provided in exchange for a contribution. Contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law when the donor itemizes deductions.
