Humans & Animals United (HAAU) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to saving animals facing euthanasia, abandonment, neglect, abuse and serious medical challenges.
For HAAU, rescue does not end when an animal leaves a shelter. It is where the responsibility begins. HAAU works to provide the veterinary care, emergency treatment, rehabilitation, fostering and ongoing support each animal needs while working toward a safe and loving forever home.

For Rosa Fond, animal rescue isn’t a hobby, a career she stumbled into, or something that began with social media. Rescuing animals has been part of her life for as long as she can remember.
Today, Rosa is a driving force behind Humans & Animals United, helping the organization give vulnerable animals the care, rehabilitation and second chance they deserve.
